The Series 16 is the perfect combination of industry leading visibility, durability and energy efficiency packaged in a commercial grade housing. Limelite’s DirectVu™ electroluminescent lamp is less than half the thickness of a credit card. This allowed Limelite to design a very thin and durable exit sign, which is maintenance free.

Series 16 DirectVu lamps use less than $0.18 of electricity each year. Their AC energy draw is only 0.18 watts. This means Limelite exit signs are on average 16 times more energy efficient than the competition. This equates to less operating costs and helps to meet your “green” initiatives.
Uniform Illumination
Limelite’s uniform illumination comes from our proprietary DirectVu lamp. The DirectVu lamp contains millions of solid-state light source that have a life that is up to 2 times the useful life of an LED exit sign. The DirectVu lamp provides the most “even illumination” in the industry. By the nature of Limelite’s technology, it is impossible for a Limelite exit sign to fall out of code compliance because of uneven

Industry Leading Visibility
Superior luminance in clear air and smoke is achieved by factory tuning of the DirectVu Lamp for optimal visibility. The electroluminescent lamp provides a non-glare, direct-view light source that is easily seen. Importantly, the green light is not mistaken as a fire source through smoke.
